This section provides the foundational knowledge necessary to understand the context and relevance of the test within the broader framework of transformer maintenance.When To Do the Test: Identification of several reasons prompting the conduction of this test, among which are routine assessments for ensuring the transformer's integrity, diagnostic purposes to identify faults in the transformer, or other specific reasons.Why To Do the Test: Description of the faults that can be detected utilizing the test and the indicators/events necessitating its conduction.Test Philosophy: Detailed explanation of the test's principles, methods, techniques, and connections, along with any pre-test considerations. This section delves into the theoretical background, the physics of measurement, and the technical setup required to perform the test. It includes diagrams and schematics to aid in understanding the procedures.Test Procedures: Step-by-step instructions for conducting the test, covering aspects of the testing process, from initial preparation to the execution and recording of results. Safety precautions and best practices are also highlighted to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.Test Results Correction: Guidance on correcting measured values using equations and tables, in line with international standards and references.Test Results Interpretation: Comprehensive analysis of the corrected values, referencing standards, literature, and practical experiences.
