Structural Editorial Review

**** "Structure for Architects: A Primer" is a resource aimed primarily at students and newcomers in the field of architecture, particularly those grappling with structural concepts. Many users have noted the book's clarity and accessible writing style, which make it an invaluable guide for these initial learning stages. Reviewers appreciate the plethora of illustrative examples that aid comprehension, especially for those who have struggled under more complex instructional methods in classroom settings. However, a recurring critique highlights the book's foundational nature, where some readers found it lacking in depth, particularly in areas like structural analysis calculations and the sizing of steel, concrete, and wood structures. Although it serves as a solid introductory text, those seeking advanced knowledge or practical exercises might find it inadequate relative to their needs. Overall, while "Structure for Architects: A Primer" is generally well-received for its straightforward approach and ease of understanding, it does have limitations in terms of depth and practical application. Those looking for a comprehensive exploration of structural design may want to Consider supplementary materials alongside this primer. **
