ROBERTS Adhesives & Mortars Editorial Review
The ROBERTS High-Performance Base Bond Wall Base Adhesive has received generally favorable reviews from customers, particularly highlighting its large size and cost-effectiveness. Users noted that the 30 oz. tubes are significantly larger than the standard 10 oz. options, providing excellent value for their adhesive needs. However, this larger size does necessitate the use of a bigger caulking gun, which some customers found surprising. In terms of performance, the adhesion properties of this product were praised, with many customers reporting successful applications for vinyl baseboards and cove bases. Specifically, the adhesive proved effective for holding down base trim and managing extensive projects, such as covering 70 feet of cove base with just 40 oz. of product. Users recommend allowing the adhesive to dry slightly before applying the molding to ensure a strong bond, while also cautioning not to delay too long in the application process. On the downside, some customers experienced challenges with the initial application, noting that it could be difficult to dispense the adhesive effectively. Additionally, issues arose when working on external corners, suggesting that proper prep work is essential for the best results. Overall, the ROBERTS High-Performance Base Bond Wall Base Adhesive has garnered positive feedback for its pricing and effective performance, making it a reliable choice for DIY projects involving base trim. **
